Matt is your local campaigner for the Green team in Beeston and Holbeck.
Matt lives in the Urban Village part of Holbeck and works as a software developer. They are interested in technology, reading, cycling, and lots of coffee!
Since moving to Leeds, Matt has been involved in our communities by actively volunteering and engaging with local groups. They work consistently on grassroots action, advocacy, and community problem-solving.
Matt’s activism began with a successful campaign against library closures, pressuring the council to reverse their closure plans. They have also co-led events, including the LS11 Yard Sale, and are actively involved with groups such as Better Beeston. Outside of Leeds, Matt works closely with groups fighting for both environmental and social justice.
