Lou Cunningham is your dedicated Green Party councillor for Armley.
Lou has lived in Armley for 20+ years and works part-time as a nurse. She has been actively involved in local community campaigns throughout Armley for many years, working closely with local voluntary groups such as Friends of Armley and Gotts Park, as well as the Armley Action Team.
Drawing from her experience in the NHS, Lou is particularly passionate about health and social care, family and youth services, and environmental issues. She also prioritises housing and community safety as essential components of community wellbeing.
Lou is actively engaged with the issues residents have identified as most important: including community safety, housing improvements, cleaner neighborhoods, road safety with measures to reduce speeding, and the protection of local green spaces.
