Leeds Green Party has announced Chris Bell as its candidate to stand in the 12th June local by-election.
Chris is hoping to offer Real Hope and Real Change in Morley with the Green Party, following this year’s May elections where Greens won a record number of Councillors across the country. The Green Party has quadrupled their number of councillors in recent year to over 850 in over 170 councils. They’re currently in power on 39 authorities including Bristol and Mid Suffolk – which won council of the year in 2024 – and are part of the administration in over 40 councils.
Chris says: “As a long term resident I am keenly aware of the unique nature of Morley, and will strive to protect its character and enhance its appeal for both residents and visitors. I have been working hard for you in Morley South and can get even more done if you vote for me on 12th June.”
