Leeds Green Party is celebrating growing support in many parts of the city in this week’s local elections. Greens came second in City and Hunslet, Headingley and Hyde Park and Woodhouse, and Councillor David Blackburn comfortably held his seat in Farnley and Wortley. Across Leeds, the Greens’ share of the vote rose to 7%.
